The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the conduct of University of Delhi Entrance Examination 2021 for Admissions to Entrance based Undergraduate Courses i.e. Bachelor of Management Studies [BMS]; DU B.A. (Honours) Business Economics [BA(H)BE]; DU Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) [BBA(FIA)]

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is an undergraduate programme in management studies to equip students with knowledge of management and its various aspects that relate to business organizations. It provides the students with necessary skills required to assume management positions in a wide range of organizations through a learning and practical approach.    

Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) :

Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) or BBA(FIA) course offers an opportunity to acquire professional investment skills in the early stage of career as a management professional.

Eligibility For DUET BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (HONS.) Business Economics

1. Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate BMS, BBA (FIA) & B.A. (HONS.) Business Economics

Course offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as an equivalent there to.

2. Minimum Percentage Required: Aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination based on a simple average of the percentage scored in four subjects: one language English, Mathematics and any two other subjects included in List B (in the prospectus).

Mandatory Requirement of Subjects Studied and Passed: One language English, Mathematics and two other subjects included in List B (in the prospectus).
Reservations:
1. OBC: 27% seats will be reserved for the candidates belonging to OBC.
Only the OBCs listed in the Central List of OBCs issued by G.O.I. (www.ncbc.nic.in) shall be considered for admission under the OBC category. The OBC certificate should mention that the candidate belongs to “Non Creamy layer” in order to be considered under the OBC category.
2. SC/ST: 22.5 % of the total numbers of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST (15 % of SC and 7.5 % for ST, interchangeable, if necessary).
3. PwD: Three percent (3%) seats are reserved for Person with Disability (PwD) with not less than 40% disabilities. The reservation of 3% will be further allocated in sub-categories (i.e., Orthopedically Handicapped, Visually Handicapped and Hearing Impaired) as per DU rules.
4. CW: Five percent (5%) seats are reserved for Children/Widows of the eligible Armed Forces Personnel (CW Category) including Para-Military Personnel. Such candidates will be required to get their names registered at Room No. 218, II Floor, New Administrative Block, North Campus, University of Delhi.

Basis of DUET Selection : Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the All India Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are:  

DUET Entrance Test: 65%, Qualifying Examination: 35% 

The percentage scored in the qualifying examination used for preparing the rank is calculated as the simple average of the percentage scored in the qualifying examination in four subjects:
English, Mathematics and any two other subjects included in LIST B (in the prospectus).

The DUET Entrance Exam will be of two hours duration based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (four choices each) designed to evaluate the aptitude of the applicants.

Quantitative Ability,
Reasoning and Analytical Ability,
General English,
Business and General Awareness
  

Mode of DUET Examination : LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test) 

There will 100 questions in Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (HONS.) Business Economics.
Each correct answer will get a score of plus 4 marks,
Each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and
a question not answered will get a score of zero marks.

Rules and Procedure for Course-College Allotment for admission to DUET BMS/BBA(FIA) Seat Allotment –
At the time of filling the application form, all applicants are required to state their order of preference of course and college in their online application form. Total 21 preferences for female applicants and 17 for male applicants are available. The applicant has to choose course/college combination in front of each preference in the registration form. The applicants are required to select atleast one preference to complete the form and the applicant may desire not to choose additional preferences by selecting ― No Preference from the drop down menu for both college and course fields. The preference order once submitted cannot be changed once the payment of fee is made.

ADMIT CARD FOR DUET 2021: The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website. Dates for downloading admit cards will be intimated later on the website https://nta.ac.in/. Candidates have to appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their DUET Admit Card.
